Within a calm environment my workshops underpin a wellbeing ethos by focusing on engaging in the process and fostering confdence in abstract art mark making. The workshops are suitable for partcipants of any artistic ability and allows for freedom of self expression whilst learning more about the world in general.
Schools/Children
Make your own beautiful piece of Art using African Techniques-even if you have no experience. The textile workshops are eco friendly using recycled material where possible. Experience shows that those attending my workshops grow in creative confidence and self awareness allowing people to express themselves through their work.
Our workshops encourage and promote values of citizenship, diversity, risk taking and inclusivity as well as being a unique opportunity to team build with your staff and learners.
Our team look forward to collaborating with your school to deliver art and design lessons as artists in residence or a short course.
We bring a professional experience of teaching internationally plus knowledge of global varied curriculae, to incorporate the relevant experiences and outcomes outlined in the Scottish Curriculum for Excellence.
Through these workshops learners will gain insight into world traditional art making techniques and thus encourage more creativity as well as being inspired by various artists around the globe.
